Microwulf: Related Systems

Dr. Manganas was kind enough to send me several pictures of Ukeinwulf, which are shown below, as well as the following data about Ukeinwulf:

Six nodes, each with an AMD Phenom (quad core) CPU
48GB distributed memory (8GB/node)
Gigabit Ethernet
Software:
- ORCA, the ab initio quantum chemistry package by Dr. Frank Neese
- Torque/Maui for job control/queueing
- OpenMPI
Total cost: ~3500 euro

In addition, the electricity consuption per node is monitored by a home-built voltage switch.
