I went for an early morning run through the countryside surrounding the University of Sussex. I happened upon Stanmer Park which contains a lovely home constructed in 1722.
At the workshop, I chaired a session in which my co-author Joćo presented a paper which went well. I made contacts with like-minded researchers that may lead to a collaboration to further my work on Ghana and South Africa. Lots of good ideas that we’ll need to wrangle into a compelling proposal.
