26 Bunnies
Mark counted at least 26 bunnies while on the island (Do you see two of them by and on the path?). They are plentiful for a few reasons: First, they're bunnies. Second, their population was originally smaller because they were fed to the prisoners. After 1991, their meat was no longer needed, but they kept multiplying, as bunnies do. They have devoured much of the vegetation of the island. Our guide told us that as we left the island, we could take a male and female and present them to someone we disliked.
