Ant's Snacks
Ant, one of the guides, assembled this cheese and crackers snack for us. Riki, Heidi, Riaan, and Jeanne-Marie wanted to hike the nearby koppie but were told that we wouldn't want to miss Ant's handiwork. I'm glad I waited. The snack provided just enough energy to complete the climb. And, Tubes dumped cooked pasta into the sand when he was draining the water, which delayed dinner until after dark.
Jess put something decorative on the table for each meal: a few blossoms, a tiny cairn, or whatever. At dinner, she forgot and someone (maybe Riaan, I forget) mentioned it. She was surprised that someone actually noticed.
