Shipwreck
We walked for about a mile from Wireless Road park to the 1900 wreck of the Kakapo on Noordhoek beach. I carried Catherine the entire way.
The Kakapo ran aground when the captain wrongly thought they had rounded the Cape of Good Hope. According to the lightkeeper we met yesterday, she was going full steam ahead at night when she ran aground on Noordhoek beach.
