I went to the bank this morning to pick up our new cheque card. After that, I went for a research meeting in Cape Town. Then, I went to Bellville in case any of my students wanted to meet me in the wake of their poor test results. Only one did.
A construction project has begin at the Mechanical Engineering building at Bellville. The first step, apparently, is to destroy the existing parking lot, outside my office window. So, I heard a lot of jack-hammering and banging. And, I felt a lot of vibrations. Not a good environment in which to get stuff done.
So, I left early to buy the new Mango Groove CD. But, the Musica store at Eikestad Mall is under construction. So, no joy.
Tracy worked on her research paper. She said she outlined the next section.
Mark went to Rhenish today. He has a short week this week, due to an upcoming public holiday (Thursday).
Catherine had Playball at daycare. Playball makes Mondays exciting for her.
We had a blazing sunset tonight. I snuck a few pictures in between cleaning up the kitchen and playing tea with Catherine.
And, last but not least, we had a power outage starting at about 20h30 tonight. No word on the cause, probably not load shedding. Just some a failure somewhere. No internet, but laptops are great in this case: they just keep chugging on battery power!
