We spent the entire morning cleaning up after yesterday's party.
In the afternoon, Tracy took the kids to Butterfly World while I went running, looked at the garage door opener, and worked on the final exam for the CPUT refrigeration class.
Before they left, we received a call from my parents. They were preparing for their trip to the airport and, ultimately, back to the U.S. They had a nice time at Constitution Hill yesterday (even if the cab driver was a bit dodgy) and were relaxing in their room.
Catherine and Mark both talked with grandma and grandpa. When Catherine was talking to my dad, he said he was getting ready to "fly home." In all seriousness, Catherine responded, "How can you fly home? You're not a bird. You have arms and hands, not wings!"
It was great having them in the country for a couple weeks and at our house for a few days. At least they now know what our house looks like and have seen that their grandchildren are doing well.
The garage door opener is now "sorted," as they say here.
Below, you can see lots of pictures from today.
