Whiteout
These are really tough conditions for making photos: extremely bright, white surf; black wetsuit; hazy noontime skies. In a word, awful.
I used a polarizing filter to try to blue the sky a bit, but that only made the shutter speed slower and led to significant motion blur. Plus, I am at the long end of my telephoto lens, which means its images tend to have softer focus, anyway. It's pretty amazing that I got any good shots at all.
