Cynthia arrived in Cape Town today about 20 minutes early. Her flights from New Jersey via London went fine.
I had a meeting with Martin on my dematerialization project today. He's going to work with us to develop the economic interaction models!
Catherine loved the "Ice Age 3" movie today with her daycare buddies.
We had a neighborhood disaster today: a water pipe broke at the bottom end of Binnekring. I noticed it when I came home from work, and by dinner time there was a crew working on it. Catherine, Cynthia, and I saw the crew when we took a short walk before dinner.
Steve, Tracy's friend from here two-week seminar, came over for dinner tonight. We had a nice time reliving memories of South Africa's transition to democracy, making connections among Canada, Michigan, and South Africa, and generally chatting about the state of the world.
