Mark earned eerst plek (first place) for Grade Three in the chess tournament today. The tournament was an "all-in" affair. Participants played others from every age group. The top-ranked players of each age won medals at the end of the day. Of the seven matches played, Mark won 5 drew 1 and tied 1. See lots of photos below.
