This evening, we went for dinner to The French Connection restaurant in Francshhoek with friends Dirk and Louise (Mark's friend Jesse's parents).
Franschhoek has some of South Africa's (and, supposedly, the world's) best restaurants. We had always wanted to do dinner in Franschhoek, and we snuck it in before our departure. Our babysitting voucher from the Rescuers auction made it possible.
We arrived a little early, so we took a short walk along Main Street. The setting sun provided some dramatic views of the buildings and surroundings. See some photos below, all taken with our little pocket camera.
