Tracy took the kids to the almost-misnamed Giraffe House while I finalized my lectures and assignments for the Hydro portion of the Wind and Hydro course that I'll team teach next week. (This was a bit of a makeup trip from two weeks ago.) It was a good thing, because it was nice for me to stay home. I'm still not up to flying around. So, thanks to Tracy for this!
The kids really enjoyed it. They got to see snow on the mountains, a few animals, and one single giraffe. (That's all they have at Giraffe House.) There was a snake show, too. See the photos below.
Catherine seems to have picked up my cold. So, she's running a bit of a fever this evening. Hopefully some Ibuprofen will make sure she sleeps through the night.
