Heritage Day is one of South Africa's many public holidays, and we took the opportunity to host some friends for dinner. We were able to use the s'mores ingredients that Grandma sent as an after-dinner treat.
We did a loosely American-style braai, with burgers, chips, the s'mores, and strawberry shortcake (courtesy of Mila cake shop).
Mark helped with the fire, and he made s'mores for Catherine and our guests. See lots of photos below.
