We spent today in and around Hermanus.
We started with a hike along the "Pincushion Trail" at Volmoed. It was incredibly windy, with a very strong Northwester blowing all morning. We went for morning tea at the John and Isobel's house at Volmoed. When we walked back down the hill, there was a troop of baboons by our cottage. After lunch, we went to the shore to scramble along the rocks. Then, it started raining, hard, as the Northwester finally brought some precipitation. So, in the late afternoon, we went to Fun Zone (an indoor play place) where the kids could run around as much as they wanted. Dinner was at the Tikka Palace, where the kids enjoyed Tandoori chicken and rice.
