Mark had a hockey game this afternoon at Rhenish. His U-9 boys team played against the U-9 girls team. I think the score was 1-1, but nobody seems to know for sure. It was a "fine" day, as they say here. Not too hot, but warm enough for Mark to get rather warm. Lots of pictures below.
In the morning, I attended the Industrial and Commercial Use of Energy (ICUE) Conference in Somerset West. I presented a paper on the Calvin Energy Efficiency Fund (CEEF) which went fine. The most interesting talk was on South Africa's Long Term Mitigation Scenarios (LTMS) study process.
After my presentation, I zipped home and ran 7 miles before attending the hockey match.
Oh yes. Today marks 1 year before the start of the 2010 world cup! The countdown is on.
