We had some relief from the heat today! The high temperature was less than 30 °C, and we had a nice breeze.
Catherine and I spent quite a bit of time playing with the snails in the gardens this morning. Tosca was only too happy to watch.
Tracy and Catherine went to the library while Mark and I bought a used T.V. this morning, too. The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has four channels, two on VHF and two on UHF. The aerial in our attic works for VHF only, so we get SABC1 and SABC2. I need to find a UHF one so that we can get SABC3 (which has cricket) and SABC4.
The guys from the TV shop brought the unit to our house to install it. They discovered that the aerial was disconnected and even went into the attic to sort it out. Very nice of them.
Tracy went shopping in the afternoon, and Catherine, Mark and I skyped with Mark's cousins.
