Jim and Henriet left this morning for an overnight trip to Hermanus. See several photos below.
Mark had a recorder concert tonight. Tracy said he did great, despite being nervous. He played "When the Saints Go Marching In."
I ran out of airtime on my cell phone today. So, I went to the Standard Bank online banking website and purchased more. Usually, it works fine: I've done this 6 times this year. About 5 seconds after clicking "OK," I usually receive a text message saying that airtime has been added. Today, no such luck. Luckily, I printed a confirmation of the transaction.
I triple-checked the phone number I entered, and I am sure it is correct. After about 30 minutes, I called Standard Bank, and they confirmed that the purchase was made. But, they can't figure out why the airtime was not added. So, the issue has been "escalated." I learned that it will take 2-3 working days for a "specialist" to address the issue. In the meantime, of course, I can't make any cell phone calls.
Aside from this annoyance, I had a meeting in Durbanville with Eskom. And, I taught at CPUT-Bellville tonight.
