Packing
We topped up our cooler boxes with ice just prior to departure.
Then, Jess gave paddling instruction and a short demonstration. She told us to keep moving faster than the water, otherwise the boat isn't steerable. Hmmmm, I thought. I always try to paddle as little as possible, rather letting the river do the work for me.
