This day started at 02h00 when Catherine woke up crying with a high fever. She had a very hard time falling back asleep.
Sadly, the lunch we had planned for Louis, Frankie, and Simone had to be cancelled. We didn't want to expose them to Catherine's bug on the day before the start of the third term. I guess we'll have lots of chicken salad this week.
A few doses of Ibuprofen helped Catherine feel better. So, Mark, Catherine, and I went to Strand Beach this afternoon, taking advantage of the wonderfully sunny and warm weather. Tracy stayed home and caught up on some research work.
It was a gorgeous afternoon, and I took several nice photos, which you can see below.
