Whale Crier
Hermanus takes is whales quite seriously, because they are the source of a lot of tourism for the small town. Since 1992, a Whale Crier, currently Pasika Noboba, has patrolled the shore to announce the presence and location of whales. Mr. Noboba was being interviewed by SABC when I took this photo.
