Gathering Storm
This image was originally taken on 2010-01-02. Things I like about this image are:
* It has the feeling of an HDR composite image, but it is not. What you see above is exactly as-shot.
* Composition: The bridge to Namibia leads the eye toward the mountain and, ultimately, to the sun-lit clouds over the mountain.
* Color: The orange in the bright cloud contrasts nicely with muted browns of the mountain. The grays of the river water and clouds complement each other nicely, too.
