Zuma is Not Next President
I said earlier that Jacob Zuma will not be South Africa's next president. Doesn't look like that will happen. The ANC has selected Kgalema Motlanthe to be the next South African president.

Zuma to be Next President
A while ago, I wrote about Jacob Zuma's corruption trial. The corruption charges were thrown out, and he appears set to be South Africa's next president.

Police Clearance
I mailed our fingerprints to the Michigan State Police yesterday. Why? The South African consulate requires a police clearance. The Michigan State Police require fingerprints to get a clearance.
Interestingly, the fingerprint form needed to be completed by a typewriter. First time in a decade that I used one, I bet.
